ABOUT THE ATTORNEYS:
All members of our law office are seasoned trial attorneys that have
over 60 combined years of experience in private practice. We have represented
individuals in wrongful firings, discrimination cases, employment contract disputes,
layoff issues, sexual harassment cases, and other types of job disputes. Our

Louis A. Highman received his B.A. from Stanford University, graduating with Great
Distinction (highest honors) and as a Phi Beta Kappa in l969. He received his
J.D. (law degree) from University of California at Berkeley Law School (Boalt
Hall) in 1974. After graduating from law school, he worked for San Francisco Neighborhood
Legal Assistance Foundation as a legal aid lawyer, before going into private practice
in 1977. He has argued in front of the California Supreme Court, has tried numerous cases
to successful conclusion, has served as a guest expert on employment issues on public radio,
and currently serves as a Panelist for the Early Settlement Program
of the Bar Association of San Francisco.
Bruce J. Highman received his B.A. from University of California at Berkeley in
1977. He received his J.D. (law degree) from Stanford University Law School in
1981. After graduating from law school, he was selected, and served, as a Law
Clerk to a Supreme Court Justice on the Alaska Supreme Court in Juneau, Alaska.
He entered private practice in 1982. He has been lead counsel on a number of cases which have
resulted in published precedent decisions, has participated in numerous trials, has appeared as
a guest lecturer on employment law issues, and is a member of the Labor Section of the
State Bar of California.
Lawrence T. Ball received his B.A. from University of California at Berkeley in 1969.
He then received his J.D. (law degree) from University of California at Berkeley
Law School (Boalt Hall) in 1974. After graduating from law school he first worked
as a legal aid lawyer for San Francisco Neighborhood Legal Assistance Foundation
before going into private practice. He is an experienced trial attorney, and has been lead
counsel on a number of cases which have resulted in large jury verdicts.
